After we get done with all the homestead chores this morning, and then playing with Nugget and Peaches, we are back getting the new greenhouse all together, and we are finishing up the fall garden by sowing carrot seeds, cover crop seeds, and English peas!!

What I LOVE The Most About Homesteading, gardening and working together as a family! It is time for us to plant our fall winter garden, and I absolutely love this time of the year on the farm. The fall garden is always my favorite gardening season, because here in growing zone 8, we can grow more types of vegetables vs the spring summer season. In this year's fall garden, we are growing elephant garlic, collard greens, onions, kohlrabi, lettuce, salad greens, mustards greens, radishes, turnip greens, tatsoi, and broccoli, and also Mrs. Cog Hill helped me plant the fall garden this year, even though gardening is not her thing her on the farm....she rather be on the tractor or dealing with all the farm animals, but that is what makes our family farm work, teamwork and working together as a family!
